Safety Instructions
High product quality requires the correct care
In order to ensure the optimum, quality-assured and cost-effective reconditioning of the protective clothing, it should be fundamentally suitable under standardised conditions. After its fundamental suitability for industrial reconditioning has been established, the conditioning process then has to be validated at the respective site in order to achieve an optimum result with respect to the warranty, restitution of the protective functions and cleanliness.
Fundamental aspects are referred to in:
DIN EN 26330 / ISO 6330 – Non-commercial washing and drying processes
DIN EN ISO 15797 – Commercial washing and final treatment processes
Additional information is to be found on the washing and care labels, as well as the enclosed information in the case of special personal protective equipment:
General Washing and Care Information

Supplementary information such as:
Non-compliance
with the washing and care instructions, as well as other accompanying information, may result in the following damage or a reduction in the lifetime of the protective clothes, amongst other effects:

General Washing and Care Information
Supplementary information such as:
- Treat separately from other clothing
- Use of defined (colour) detergents
- Do not use any fabric softeners
- High washing liquor level
- Fill below the machine's capacity > do not overload !
- Maximum washing/dryer temperature > do not overdry !
- Residual moisture 10-15% if possible
- Number of rinse cycles
- Do not chlorinate/bleach/no sodium hydroxide solution/no acids
- Neutral pH value if possible (depending on colour, max. 9.0)
- Store in a dry place/avoid direct sunlight
- Information on after-treatment processes/re-impregnations, e.g. for the reactivation of water, oil and dirt-repellent finishes
Non-compliance
with the washing and care instructions, as well as other accompanying information, may result in the following damage or a reduction in the lifetime of the protective clothes, amongst other effects:
- Extensive loss of strength/tear propagation resistance
- Excessive (permanent) shrink values
- No optimum cleaning properties
- Abrasion / roughening / pilling formation through excessive mechanical load in the drum, e.g. in the case of overdrying, incorrect filling etc.
- Change of colour and discolourations as well as loss of strength due to excessive pH values
- Optical changes resulting from improper storage (direct sunlight, UV damage to the fabric)
